Technology awarded a Gold medal on National show of livestock and agricultural equipment 2009 in Brno
Launching of Mobile slaughter units prototype (in version for a slaughtering of small ruminants) sol ves first-stage processing of abattoir
animals without a necessity of transporting of live animals to plant and then to stationary slaughter-house (abattoir). Slaughter animals are
processed into the form "abattoirily modified body", which are cooling-down. Abattoirily modified bodies are transported in the cold storage
facility for a next processing. Capability of the equipment is 50 pieces a workshift (approximately 5 hours). Work is carried out by three
workers under the supervision of the inspector of State Veterinary Administration.
Mobile slaughter units includes:
- own source of electricity 240 and 380 Vand possibility to connect to external source 240 and 380 V
- own reserves of drinking water and through-flow heater
- construction of fence for ani mal roundup before a slaughtering
- access ramp to slaughtering
- slaughtering space, space for a gutting and for a veterinary inspection
- separate space for stowage of ani mal by-products o
- cold storage facility for abattoirily modified body for cooling-down and transport in hanging position
- hygienic loop circuit and background for a crew
- space for technical background
Certification
Presented version is approved by State Veterinary Administration of the Czech Republic as an "oval-shaped"
(seal of office) equipment, which is capable of supply producing to EU countries. Equipment has processed
certificate pian HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). In August 2008 the classification society
Ecological Agriculture Inspector (KEZ o.p.s.) issued a licence of Organic food producer.
Merits of Mobile slaughter units
Mobile abattoirs hold down the transport of animals, because the mobile equipments enable the abattoir to come directly to animals.
Animals are not stressed by a foreign territory; they are stunned and slaughtered in the presence of a close person. This implies that meat
has significantly better quality (not increased adrenaline, complete exanguination, better ageing of meat, no loss of energy, no increased
content of acids in meat and thereby better guaranteed storage period and stability in storage).
